Since 2002, OPING has helped foreign companies and individuals navigate China with clarity and confidence.
Our approach is personal from the start. We first take the time to understand the client, the objective, and the specific circumstances. We then bring together the right legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, and business expertise to move the matter forward.
For corporate clients, this may mean structuring the right onshore and offshore setup, establishing and operating in China, managing ongoing legal, tax, accounting, employment, corporate and regulatory compliance, securing high-tech and tax incentives, restructuring when circumstances change, or closing a business properly.
For many clients, our role continues long after incorporation — through annual filings, tax and accounting compliance, audits, transfer pricing documentation, employment matters, licence renewals, corporate changes and other ongoing regulatory requirements.

For private clients, OPING acts as a trusted local representative — handling important matters, coordinating professionals, protecting your interests and reporting back clearly from the ground.
This may involve property, inheritance, family matters, banks, lawyers, accountants, government offices, local service providers or simply something that needs to be checked, handled or followed up in person.
Our role is not to replace every specialist. Our role is to understand what needs to be done, bring in the right people when necessary, coordinate the process and remain accountable to you.
OPING is deliberately hands-on. Clients work with experienced senior professionals, not layers of junior advisers. Where specialist expertise is required, we coordinate the right lawyers, accountants, tax advisers and other professionals while remaining a consistent point of contact throughout.
